Click here for Quincy Valley 2008 Tour Rack Card ! Valley Chamber of Commerce was established in 1944 and Incorporated on February 7, 1947. The purpose of the Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce is the promotion of the agricultural, civic, commercial, industrial, and financial interests of the citizens of the Quincy Valley and the preservation of the free enterprise system. With all the new and exciting things happening in and around the Quincy Valley...i.e...Cave B Sagecliffe Resort, surrounded by estate vineyards, fragrant orchards and thought-provoking beauty, the buildings of Cave B Inn literally “grow” out of the ground, camouflaged by living, ever-changing walls of sand and basalt. With 30 spacious guest rooms, two meetings rooms and several unique vineyard and view locations. 15 finely appointed Cliffehouses make Cave B the perfect place for a retreat, family reunion, business meeting, or romantic getaway. Also, Crescent Bar Resort is a vacation paradise perfect for fun, sun, golf, tennis, fishing, jet-skiing, wakeboarding...and sometimes absolutely incredible water-skiing conditions. Crescent Bar is on an island on the Columbia River ten miles north of the I-90 bridge at Vantage in central Washington. Another great feature in our area is the Port’s Intermodal facility. The Grant County Port District No. 1 (the Port of Quincy) is currently developing an Inland Intermodal Industrial Park that will help alleviate congestion on Interstate 90 and the Seattle Metro area, and bring jobs to central Washington State. The underlying premise of the Park is to provide a location for which truck traffic can drop and receive freight which travels through the ports of the Puget Sound, without having to enter the congested Puget Sound region. By locating an intermodal facility in Quincy, Washington, the Park will be able to utilize the existing Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway (BNSF) mainline track that ties Seattle to Chicago to transport freight to and from Puget Sound ports to the Park. The Park will also support warehousing, bulk and retail distribution centers, and container loading/repack facilities. With all of this in mind there are bound to be lots of out-of-towners coming to our sweet spot here in the middle of the state. There are many more exciting things going on in our town/area and just to name a few...we also have the Wine Fest, QHS graduation, the Dru Gimlin 3-on- 3 Basketball Tournament, and many great Gorge concerts this summer which we know bring guests to our area. FCAD (Farmer Consumer Awareness) is an annual festival that is held Second Saturday in September. It is a unique celebration that educates the consumer on the farm to market process. Free farm tours, food booths, arts & crafts fair, grand parade, fun run, fresh produce, games & much more!
Opportunities Unlimited! Quincy is located near the center of Washington State just 10 miles North of I-90. Quincy is the gateway to the Wenatchee Valley, Leavenworth and the Okanogan Valley if you are traveling from the South or East. Tourism is a major part of our economy. The Gorge Amphitheater, which draws an estimated 3,000 to 20,000 people per concert, is located 10 miles southwest of Quincy. Sunland Estates summer homes and the Crescent Bar Recreation area all add to our tourism along with the already available hunting, fishing, and boating. We can call Quincy a tourist and recreational paradise. For more information or to VISIT THE CITY OF QUINCY...Click Here ! Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce
